CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA — Philippine Information Agency’s (PIA) third episode of Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas featured the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as part of the nationwide simultaneous conduct.

DSWD Field Office 3 – Central Luzon Regional Diorector Venus F. Rebuldela presented the accomplishments of the agency’s programs and services directed to the poor and vulnerable sectors in the region. She also provided updates on Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, Assistance to Idividuals in Crisis Situation, and Sustainable Livelihood Program.

Furthermore, Director Rebuldela also acknowledged the effort of the staff of DSWD Central Luzon. “Ang lahat ng mga ito ay hindi maisasakatuparan kung hindi dahil sa mga magigiting na kawani ng ahensya, mga makabagong bayani, ang ating mga Angels in Red Vests. Sa kabila ng banta ng iba’t-ibang sakuna, naging masigasig sila sa paghahatid ng serbisyo para sa mga kliyenteng higit na nangangailangan.”
