After 4 weeks of Educational Assistance Payout, DSWD Region 3 announced that the last schedule of payout will be tomorrow,  24 September 2022. This year’s allotted fund for Educational Assistance was ₱126,266,966 and the remaining funds as of 22 September 2022 is only ₱5,300,966 which is not enough to cater all remaining applicants. 

The agency clarified that not everyone who registered online will be given assistance due to the lack of funds.Yet, they assure that the data of those who registered will be kept and will be assessed if ever an additional funding will be allocated for Educational Assistance. 

The agency strictly implements assessment protocols and will not entertain walk-in clients, only those who received text or call from authorized numbers will be assessed by social workers. 

DSWD Region 3 aims to deliver Maagap at Mapagkalingang serbisyo to all students who experience crisis. They will strive to help as much as we can and continue to deliver service until we have enough funds to be distributed. The regional agency is thanking the public for their understanding  and continued support. ###
