DSWD Region 3 launches AOC and recognizes exemplary employees
To incomparably deliver the Maagap at Mapagkalingang Serbisyo, DSWD Region 3 has sought to establish the Agency Operations Center (AOC) that will serve as the command facility to monitor and coordinate unified data management, faster generation of updated data sets, and improve monitoring and evaluation systems.
In this age and time of technology, DSWD is keeping up by transitioning to an online system and digital payouts for assistance and grants.
To have an improved basis for planning, monitoring, and evaluation of social welfare and development programs and services, DSWD Region 3 has sought to streamline the process and management of its data and information through the AOC.
With its spacious interior the AOC boasts its 3×2 meter full color LED display, video wall comptroller, audio and video discussion system, movable conference table and chairs and microphones
The opening of AOC was attended by DSWD Secretary Rolando Joselito D. Bautista, Director Andrew J. Ambubuyog, Director Ferdinand LD Budeng, Regional Director Marites M. Maristela, CESO III, Assistant Director for Regional Operation Venus F. Rebuldela and Assistant Director for Administration Maribel M. Blanco.
In the afternoon, the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Awards also took place. The PRAISE Award is given annually to exemplary performers in DSWD. It is designed to encourage creativity, innovativeness, efficiency, integrity, and productivity in the public service by recognizing and rewarding officials and employees for their contributions to the improvement of government operations. In the afternoon, the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Awards also took place. The PRAISE Award is given annually to exemplary performers in DSWD. It is designed to encourage creativity, innovativeness, efficiency, integrity, and productivity in the public service by recognizing and rewarding officials and employees for their contributions to the improvement of government operations. Along with the PRAISE awardees, the agency has also given loyalty and service awards to the employees who dedicated their life in service to DSWD Region 3.
