Pinangunahan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa pamamagitan ng Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) ang Knowledge Exchange Forum (KEF) para sa Community Driven Development na ginanap noong September 15, 2023 sa Subic, Zambales.

Layunin ng KEF na palalimin at palakihin ang pagpapahalaga ng mga mambabatas at partner stakeholder sa konsepto ng Community-Driven Development approach; at bumuo ng suporta at rekomendasyon para sa CDD institutionalization Bill.

Sa ngalan ni Regional Director Jonathan V. Dirain, dinaluhan din ito ng Division Chief ng Promotive Services Division, Ms. Vilma R. Serrano na nagpahayag din ng mensahe, “The road ahead may be challenging, but we are not daunted. Our journey is guided by the beacon of hope that is KALAHI-CIDSS, by the indomitable spirit of our communities, and by the transformative power of unity. Let us walk this path with courage, open hearts, and a commitment to the service of our nation and its people”.

Dinaluhan ito ng mga kinatawan ng mga District Representatives, local chief executives, mga katawan sa probinsya ng Nueva Ecija at Zambales, at mga kawani ng KALAHI-CIDSS National Program Management Office.

Nagsisikap ang programa tungo sa CDD institutionalization sa pamamagitan ng pagpasa ng CDD Bill na ngayon ay inaprubahan ng House Committee on Poverty Alleviation ang consolidated CDD Bill at babalik sa Plenary para sa 2nd reading.
