DSWD Provincial Extension Office (DPEO) – Pampanga wins 3rd Place for Best Operations Office at the national level of PRAISE 2019!

implemented the programs and services of the Department and served 55, 328 identified Listahanan poor households of Pampanga from 2016 to 2018. 

The 179 human resources of Pampanga as of December 2018 built an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and complementation that resulted to an effective and efficient implementation of core programs such as Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, Modified Conditional Cash Transfer Program, Sustainable Livelihood Program, EAICS, CCAM, Social Pension and Community based related services. 

DPEO Pampanga covers the 3 cities and 19 municipalities in 4 congressional districts with 2,198,110 population (2015 data). The population is scattered to 2,180.68 square kilometers of the landmass of the province.

DPEO Pampanga has strengthened convergence of all programs and services complemented by the Local Government Units, Non-Government Organizations, Civil Society Organizations, and Non-Government Agencies to ensure responsiveness of services to the needs of the disadvantaged and marginalized sectors of Pampanga. 

The Outstanding DPEO award was given to Pampanga, during the Assessment and Monitoring of Liquidation of Funds for CY 2017. In addition, DPEO Pampanga was also recognized in the categories of Best in Gulayan, Best in Case Recording, Most Responsive Operations Office and Most Outstanding Partnership with the Local Government Units this 2018. 

The DPEO Pampanga has an effort in participating in the quarterly Provincial/ City/Municipality Advisory Committee Meetings together with the C/MAT’s to lobby the issues and concerns to the LGU’s. This technical support aims to achieve/accomplish SWDI gaps.
