The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) expressed its gratitude to Cebu Pacific Airlines for its assistance in airlifting, for free, family food packs (FFPs) bound for Davao International Airport and General Santos International Airport.

A total of 2,200 FFPs amounting to over Php1 million were transported via four air shipments of Cebu Pacific on March 5, 2023.

Meanwhile, from March 5 to 7, 2023, Cebu Pacific airlifted 5,000 hygiene kits amounting to P687,500 via three air shipments to General Santos International Airport.

The food and non-food items are set to be distributed to the families affected by recent disasters in Regions XI and XII.

The DSWD will continue to ensure the prepositioning and distribution of relief items to calamity-affected localities, including the recent 5.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Davao de Oro. ###
