Due to Republic Act 10661, November is declared National Children’s Month. This month-long celebration for children aims to help people to realize children’s rights as individuals—to have access to healthcare, education, and a healthy environment.

The Regional Children’s Congress is conducted yearly in observance of National children’s Month every November. This year’s theme is “Kalusugan, Kaisipan, Kapakanan ng Bawat Bata Tutukan”

The Regional Children’s Congress aims to showcase the talent of children and their ability to express themselves as part of their physical, language, cognitive, and social-emotional development through various developmental activities like copy & color and poem recitation contests.
