The regard for equality is rooted with the Bill of Rights in the 1987 Constitution stating that all Filipino are equal regardless of ethnicity, race, religion or belief, political inclination, social class, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, civil status, medical condition, or any other status in the enjoyment of rights.

Christopher Joy M. Ortiz from DSWD Provincial Extension Office (DPEO) Nueva Ecija treats everyone fairly  regardless of social and economic status.

As a Cluster Grievance Officer, he is responsible for addressing issues and concerns of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries. He ensured that the concerns of the clients as well as the  workers were properly and immediately addressed. Christopher makes sure that each case is communicated and coordinated properly as he objectively acts upon them.

Christopher acts with justice, gives everyone his due, and observes honesty and good faith as he does not favor anyone. He demonstrates a genuine concern towards his colleagues and clients. He respects  the importance of due process in addressing grievance concerns whether it is among the  program beneficiaries or among fellow DSWD employees.

He is respectful to all persons regardless of their creed, race, religion, physical appearance, economic status or intellectual limitations. He is  a worker whom you would not hesitate to ask for assistance or clarification.

As public servants, DSWD employees hope to be inspired by him and enliven one of our core values, Pantay na Pagtrato sa Komunidad.
