QUEZON CITY — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) celebrates its 69th year with the theme, “Social Integration: DSWD’s Major Thrust in line with the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022.” 

Part of this celebration is the DSWD Trade Fair, Bazaar, and Product display spearheaded by the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP). This activity aims to showcase products made by SLP beneficiaries from Regions I, II, III, IV-A, CAR, CARAGA, and NCR.  

Variety of products ranging from native handicraft items, artisan clay pots, innovative and traditional food products to agricultural products from Region 3’s SLP beneficiaries were displayed and sold during the activity. In addition, Region 3 has been recognized as one of the top sellers by earning Php 39, 285.00 on the first two days. 

As part of the evolving strategy of marketing of the program-beneficiaries’ product,  an e-commerce platform for SLP products, ProdukTODO was launched. The platform is targeted to be available for the public in the second quarter of the year.
