The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region III maintains its integrity by adopting and strictly implementing the “No Gift Policy”. 

This is in response to the Enhanced Guidelines on the Code of Conduct for the Personnel of DSWD, also known as the Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 021 Series of 2012. It states that DSWD is committed to promote the ideals of good governance, eradicate graft and corruption, and uphold the highest ethical standards among the agency’s officials and employees. 

As a general policy, DSWD Region III discourages acceptance of gifts from clients or any person or organization it is transacting business with as this may influence past, present, or future performance of their official functions. Any offer of gifts shall be politely declined.
