Two (2) days after the 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Central Luzon, DSWD continues to monitor the affected areas and provide necessary assistance through the different services of the agency.

According to a report sent by DROMIC Region 3, as of April 24, 2019, 12:00NN, a total of 2,367 affected families with 11,783 individuals. 2,160 are from Pampanga, 4 in Bataan, and 203 in Zambales.

DSWD Region 3 staff closely monitor and consolidate the reports.

A total of 35,000 pesos of medical assistance was given to the affected families in Pampanga, 50,000 pesos burial assistance and a total of 450,814.80 pesos relief assistance was given to the families affected in Zambales and Pampanga.

Medical Assistance was given to the survivors admitted in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the search and rescue operations in the collapsed Chuzon Supermarket in Port, Pampanga is still on-going.
