DSWD Field Office III (DSWD FO III), through its Financial Management Division (FMD), conducted a four-day orientation and workshop on Financial Management from 11 to 14 September 2018.

The department believes that Financial Management should not only be a concern of a single division of the department. In fact, its principles should be internalized not only in the management level, but also in the supervisory, support and front line level. Knowing how FMD operates will mitigate violations and conflicts arising in the administrative processes and will further the accomplishments and achievements of the Field Office.

The activity was participated by representatives of all offices in the region. Through this, the department also shows its commitment to all support and front line staff as DSWD’s assets in its operations and administrative processes. Developing the capacity of each staff is a worthwhile investment of the social service department.
